Performance
In rope performance, Kosmick follows the philosophy of “co-topping the audience”, and approaches performance planning as a collaborative process with their partners, creating an offering meant to invite in their viewers. Drawing from their background in the performing arts, they create performances that are engaging and dynamic, favouring a narrative format. The structure for each performance is prepared and practiced in advance, allowing for authentic expression and connection in the moment, without sacrificing showmanship or finesse.
Kosmick loves to shape performances to fit the venue or occasion they will appear at, as well as their connection to their partner. Depending on the intended audience, performances can be raw and vulnerable, theatrical and dramatic, or even playful and silly, reflecting the versatility of expression available through rope bondage. They incorporate props, costuming, and elements of mime and dance towards the realization of their performance goals.
Kosmick performs self-suspension, as well as partnered performances as a top and a bottom. They presently have performance partners they tie and one partner with whom they specialize in switching performances. They are open to collaborations involving being tied with rope tops that would be a good fit.
